SEQUIM WASHINGTON CHILDRENS DAY CARE
We have two categories of listings on this website. The first being licensed non-residence daycare centers, the second being private licensed home day care providers. If you are licensed and are not included in this directory, or we have made errors, please use this link "correction and content" and we will try to correct the matter as soon as posible. The staff at MySequim.Com has made effort to make sure that all listed Day Care Centers and Providers hold valid license in the State of Washington, and/or County of Clallam, and/or appropriate City license if applicable to operate a licensed Day Care. However, it needs to be understood license status and circumstances change, therefore we strongly recommend that you personally verify the status of any listed licensed day care provider found on this website or any other website for that matter, with the appropriate licensing or controlling authority. Although there is no criminal history we are aware of in our community with regards to daycare providers, as we told our children who are now raising our grandchildren, check out the center or provider until you are comfortable. That can include asking for references, doing a background check (including criminal), prior to trusting your children with any day care center or provider. We also told our children to do scheduled visits, as well as unscheduled visits to the center or provider to see how your children are doing. As we have learned, the center or provider may be really good with children as a rule, however your children are unique to your family and your children's habits. Don't be afraid to ask and/or change centers or providers until you and your children are as happy as possible. I don't know about you, but we were never really happy with finding it was necessary to put my children in daycare, but we and our now adult children successfully lived through it and everything turned out ok. |
