Welcome to Beautiful Sequim Washington, "The Banana Belt of America." This web site is dedicated to servicing the 'Blue Hole Area' of the West Coast's spectacular Olympic Peninsula.

Professional pilots refer to Sequim as the 'Blue Hole' because Sequim, Washington is in the heart of a Rain Shadow.

The blue skies and sunny weather of Sequim WA, has blessed Sequim land and Sequim homes with nearly 300 days of sunshine and less than 17 inches of annual rainfall.

WELCOME TO SEQUIM WASHINGTON

Thank you for visiting our mysequim.com community web site.  We use the term community web site, simply for the fact this web site has arisen from the needs and comments offered by community members and visitors to our area.  Some of our largest requests from visitors to the community have been regarding indoor and outdoor activities, real estate, schools, restaurants, health and medical services.

Much of the web page story contents have been written and provided by local community members.   For this we thank all of our contributors.  Without you, this would just be another information web site with content that never changes.  We are now in the process of accepting story's from community members and visitors about their experiences while living or visiting the North Olympic Peninsula.  You will notice a link to the left titled This Month's Featured Story, where you will find a featured short story, or adventures, submitted by individuals descriptions of the history of the Peninsula or of their indoor and outdoor experiences while living or visiting the Olympic Peninsula.  If you would like to have your story or adventure published on this web page, please send us your contact information and a brief excerpt from your story to story@mysequim.com and we will have our team review it and get back to you within two weeks.  For you story to be published it needs to be about the history, life or living on the North Olympic Peninsula.  We will do our best to publish all story or articles that fit the parameters of this public web site.
